Our facility at 425 Holland St. West has over 40,000 square ft. with community and study space. Costs and details are provided for spaces that are available for rent. Priority will be given to library programs.

The Zima Room comfortably accommodates up to 120 people depending on the function. There are 12 rectangular folding tables available and 120 chairs. The kitchenette is equipped with a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, sink, dishes and cutlery, coffee urn, kettle, teapot and mugs.

The room is equipped with the following items:

Projector and screen
DVD & BluRay Player
CD player / audio input (suitable for mp3 players)
Whiteboard and Flipchart with paper

Hours Of Operation Monday: 9:30 - 9:00 Tuesday: 9:30 - 9:00 Wednesday: 9:30 - 9:00 Thursday: 9:30 - 9:00 Friday: 9:30 - 5:30 Saturday: 9:30 - 5:30 Sunday: 1:00 - 5:30 The Library’s meeting room spaces are not available on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Good Friday or Easter Sunday.
Rental Policy Bookings will not be accepted within three (3) days/72 hours of the intended event except in exceptional situations.
Cancellation Policy Bookings will be tentative until payment is received. Payment must be made in person by cheque, debit or cash. In order to receive a refund, notification of the cancellation of an event must be given 14 days prior to the function. No refund will be given with fewer than 14 days notice.

We do not offer a laptop or computer connected to the projectors, so you are responsible for providing your own. Note: Mac users will need to have a mini DVI to VGA adapter to connect to the projector. Users may also need to supply an HDMI to VGA adapter if their device does not have a VGA connections. The borrower accepts legal and physical responsibility for damage and loss.
